Keep your eye on the doughnut, not the hole
Yeah, we're saddled with a pack of gutless wonders in the Democratic Party -- the Torture Twelve, in Tim Grieve's words. And they'll be dealt with, eventually.
But let's not forget the real perpetrators of this national shame: Every Republican senator, save one, stood up yesterday and voted to codify torture and detention at the pleasure of the dictator as the law of the land. They were led in their betrayal of the United States, its Constitution and the laws of civilized society for the past seven centuries by the three despicable bastards pictured above.
Remember this on Nov. 7th. Remember this when you see your family, friends or neighbors who think Republicans are just great. Remember this when St. McCain, professional "Victim of Torture," starts his presidential run in earnest. Remember what you get when you go along to get along.
