On the radio
Saturday last my colleague Barbie Deutsch and I were on local radio, to talk about the forthcoming Santa Barbara Jefferson-Jackson Dinner which our PAC, BE for Change, is sponsoring, and of which we're co-chairs.
Click here to hear our brilliant repartee. Are we ready for prime-time podcasting, or what?
Oregon's Sen. Ron Wyden (who attended UCSB on a basketball scholarship before transferring to Stanford) is our keynote speaker. The Broad View and NightLight's own RJ Eskow has put together a blue grass and country band (the "Red State Wranglers") that will play for entertainment and dancing. And there's much much more.
Friday August 19 — 6 o'clock — at Warren Hall, the Earl Warren Showgrounds. If you're going to be anywhere in the neighborhood, join us!
