They Must Be Doing Something Right
RightWingNews asked a group of 200 wingnut bloggers to list their choices for which Americans are most screwing up our country.
The results of the poll constitute, in effect, a new Enemies List. (You remember that charming bit of Nixoniana.) I say bravo. They've done our work for us, told us exactly whom we should most eagerly support.
I'm glad to see so many of our senators and representatives among them — more than I'd have anticipated.
The winners are below the fold, in reverse order of vote-getting power. (Number of votes in parentheses.)
23) Sandra Day O'Connor (6)
23) Ruth Bader Ginsburg (6)
23) Maxine Waters (6)
21) Charles Rangel (7)

A fascinating list. Interesting that Wes Clark isn't on the list and that Al Gore is far down in the pack.
I just commented [ranted] re Clark in your "Wes Sez" post above.
Although nobody seems to be talking out loud about it, I certainly would vote for Al Gore in 2008.
After his experience with "Grand Theft-Presidential" in 2000, he went into hiding in academia, grew a beard, and gained weight.
Now, though, he has emerged from self-imposed exile--thinner, clean-shaven and fearless--and he's finally found his voice. If he could campaign with the same authenticity that he's displayed in his series of speeches across the country, he could win [again].

Max,
I think that Gore would be on the list if he were speaking out more regularly. What he says surely would qualify him!
P.S. I've misplaced your e-mail address. Please contact me at ednagler [at] mac [dot] com. Thanks!
